Cookie Policy
Last updated 8 September 2026
Three cookies exist on this whole site, and two of them only appear if you say yes.
The rule we follow
Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive says nothing may be stored on or read from your device without your prior consent, unless it is strictly necessary for what you asked for. That is not a formality here, it is how the site is built:
- On your first page view, no analytics script is downloaded. Not one request reaches Google.
- You are asked once. Only necessary and Accept analytics are the same size, side by side, one click each. Neither is hidden behind a second screen.
- Closing the banner without choosing is not a yes. Nothing loads until you pick one.
- Withdrawing is exactly as easy as agreeing, from the button below or in the footer.
| Name | Set by | What it does | How long | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ndp_consent | NowaDaysPosts (this site) | Remembers whether you allowed analytics, so we stop asking. Stored in local storage, never sent to our server. | 6 months | Strictly necessary |
| _ga | Google Analytics | Tells one visitor apart from another so we can count readers. Only written after you accept. | 2 years | Analytics, consent required |
| _ga_GMRJSJP144 | Google Analytics | Keeps the state of your visit for the same counting. Only written after you accept. | 2 years | Analytics, consent required |
What this site deliberately does not do
- No advertising cookies, no remarketing pixels, no Meta or TikTok pixel.
- No cross-site tracking, and no sharing of your visit with any ad network.
- No web fonts fetched from Google. They are compiled into the site and served from this domain, so your browser never asks Google for them.
- No chat widget, no heatmaps, no session recording.
Amazon, when you click a link
Product links carry our affiliate tag. Clicking one takes you to Amazon, and Amazon may then set its own cookies so a purchase can be credited to us. Those cookies are set by Amazon on Amazon’s domain, after you have chosen to go there, under Amazon’s Privacy Notice. Nothing about that is under our control and no Amazon cookie is set while you stay here.
Product images are loaded from Amazon’s image servers, so Amazon sees your IP address for those requests even before you click. That is a condition of using their images.
Changing your mind
One button, any time. It reopens the same panel you saw on your first visit.
You can also clear everything from the browser itself, under Settings, then Privacy, then site data. That removes your stored answer too, so the question comes back next visit. We ask again after six months in any case.
Anything on this page, or anything you find in your browser that is not listed here, goes to the address on our privacy policy.
