Two days ago Pinterest’s spotlight panel swapped its entire list. This week it kept it — corner wall galleries still up 300% month over month, indoor staircase gardens up 200%, staircase wall and landing decor up 50%, western style home decor up 20% — and added a fifth: backyard play areas, sitting in home décor and gardening at the same time.

A trend that holds for a second week is worth more than a trend that spikes for one. The first week is curiosity; the second is people actually planning the project. So this round is five completely new finds — different products, different rooms, nothing repeated from Tuesday’s picks.

Corner gallery walls need one thing to look deliberate instead of accidental: enough sizes to carry the arrangement around the corner. This ten-frame set in pale oak — 8x10, 5x7 and 4x6, real glass, white mats already in them — lets you run six frames on one wall and four on the other so the two read as a single gallery and the dead corner stops being a dead corner. It’s also the cheapest way to fix a dorm corner before move-in weekend, which is now two weeks out.

For indoor staircase gardens, skip the pots on the steps — someone will kick them. Three matte black wall planters, each a round plate with a deep curved arm and a ring that cradles the pot, mounted in a stepped diagonal beside the stairs instead. Western style is the one that scares people off, because most of it arrives with horseshoes attached. This doesn’t: an ivory cotton cushion with a southwestern aztec diamond hand-embroidered in soft tan.
